I have never listened to him. From the comments in the news taking up my valuable bandwidth it seems he is not a bad person that would wish harm on children but that in his shock talk he just blurted out something he thought was witty - let he without sin here cast the first stone. I saw Imus in an interview and he didn't entertain me, mike savage I had heard a few times, but I also didn't listen at him because he was just too damn hard to listen too - always hollering and screaming - made me irritated, but I have no respect for knighty tin's solution, whatever happened to people turning off their own radio or tv if they didn't like something? Why does Mr. Powell with the FCC get to think for me? I get real mad when I am told its BEST for me to let MR. TYRANNY editor decide what is good or not for my ears. I turned imus and mike savage off of my own free will - why can't we let the markets decide - so many here rail against the fed - logically I don't see how letting a central body manage the money is any different from letting a central body manage the airwaves. Why do I need some "editor" filtering out reality for me? Have I become too stupid to do it for myself? I hope knighty tin reverses his thinking or my respect for him will go way down. I am very lazy, but not so lazy I can't choose what I will or will not listen too or watch. If Imus calls some girls nappy headed hos they can call him an ignorant redneck. tit for tat Or if they want to take the high road say they forgive him and make him feel bad if he has a conscience - but when knighty tin starts talking about banning free choices for people - we are getting into dangerous slippery slopes. Today its editing the superbowl so that a nipple doesn't accidentally slip out - oh the horror! Where does it end? Why do we need a nanny state to make us fools and needy? I am really starting to have a serious problem with our justice system and the police state we have become. I feel for the kid that got called "nigger", my sis went through integration when she was just 12 and she got beat up on everyday because she was the wrong color. It made her a very hard person later on in life. I think it is OK for IMUS to say nigger or nappy headed ho, he has that freedom of speech, and then I have the freedom to turn off his show because I find him too offensive or a real dumbass. What knighty tin is suggesting scares the fark out of me! That I will no longer have the free market choice to turn off what imus says or doesn't say. That someone else will make my choices for me - NO WAY! Don't we have enough tyranny? I listen to the philster, he has good stock market info, but now IMUS is infecting his show, and phil slammed al sharpton, but I find al sharpton and "slapping the donkey" very entertaining, I watched al sharpton on his tv show more than imus or mike savage - but I stop watching him too.
