No, Bush-Cheney must be dealt with. If not for them we wouldn't have major problems in iran and Iraq. Bush-cheney have done more to hurt our security than all enemies and bad guys on the planet put together times ten.

If we got rid of Bush-Cheney, Iran would suddenly send out olive branches.

Also, our military needs about a five year rest to recover from what Bush-cheney have done to it.

What would be wrong with having the Europeans defend their own back yard?

Iran can be dealt with very easily, by talking to them and treating them like normal human beings. Then, the next election the Iranian people will vote out the rightwing radicals like they did in 2001 before Bush messed everything up. Believe it or not, Iranians were marching in support of the USA in Tehran after 9-11. But then Bush showed them the Ugly Amrican face and called them "evil".

Would you cooperate with some country calling you evil and threatening you? No. Just the opposite. So that put the radicals in power. Which is what Bush-cheney wanted, an enemy. But our army is so badly depleteed now we ciouldn't invade Luxembourg, much less Iran which is three times the size of Iraq.
