Rogue, I read these comments you write, and I have two questions I respectfully would like for you to provide a straight, honest answer to:

(1 >>>>>OIH......I'm seeing some minor negative divergences here on the stochastic and RSI.<<<<

(2 >>>>>I'd be careful if long here at $152.00....

JMHO......<<<<<

Regarding #1, in looking at your chart, I fail to see even what could be called "minor" divergences on the stochastic and RSI. They virtually mirror one another as usual. In fact, if you will compare the patterns of these 2 indicators made in the first few days of April, 06, you should see an almost IDENTICAL pattern, after which the price went on up another 14 cents or so, and did not commence the down turn until the following month! So why do you announce the caution here? I would venture to say that 95% of the readers of this board are aware that stocks go up, and they go down...especially after they GO UP! <VBG>.

Regarding #2, would you honestly divulge to the board why you felt a need to express your pessimism about the price risk of OIH? I can understand your doing so if you're investing strategy is primarily based on shorting trades, which produces better gains for you if the market or stock can be persuaded to reverse what is a reasonably strong upward trend at the moment. However, if you wish to continue to profit from the long side of this issue, I fail to see why or what you expect to gain from such a post....unless you are trying to establish yourself as an expert guru in the practice of timing stocks. And of course we all know that such well qualified analysts are few and far between. Don't you agree?

I sincerely hope you will honestly and objectively answer these queries. I tried to present them without the usual rancor in such a vein so that I and others can understand the motivations of these types of messages. As you probably know, I invest on the long side only and hold little respect for those who incessantly try to reverse an up market. IMHO, attempting to exert pressure in the market to cause an unnatural plunge downward in the price of a stock works against the basic profit motivation of business and entreprenuership....and yes, I know that it is practiced egregiously....which doesn't make it right.

Respectfully,

Buck
