Fed is not cutting unless there is a recession. Period.
They cut they perpetuate teh dollar free fall and they know that. They will continue to jaw bone the inflation problem to keep rates in the market place firm.

BTW- rates are at 30 yr. lows. Do you think that lasts forever??

Per the Fed's last statement.

The FOMC held the rate at 5.25%, but dropped its tightening bias.
- economy likely to expand at moderate pace
- unanimous to leave rates unchanged
- future policy adjustments depend on data
- inflation remains predominant policy concern
- high resouce use may sustain inflation pressures
