Special kind of individual." How can I take it personally when I don't know you and you don't know me. However Rink might take it personally as might all other moderators. Are you an exception to your own rule? I had been asked to put my name forward before I did. I wanted to make clear that I would lift the bans and try to restore the board to the lively enjoyable and informative place it used to be for most of Mani's time. Your views on the moderation of the board are well known. You seem to ban the same people Rink does. I don't consider them "trouble makers". To me they are long standing members of SI who have a contribution to make. Their views may or may not be controversial - I suppose it depends on what yours are. But forums are about the exchange of views within certain commonly agreed ground rules. The rules are actually set by SI, not moderators.
