It illustrates that Global Dimming was dampening the effects of Global Warming (by CO2). Thanks to the Clean Air Acts the air is getting cleaner and more sunlight is getting through. Some scientists have proposed actually using a sulfur bomb in the upper stratosphere to delay global warming, but this would be only a band aid IMO. The real solution is to cut CO2 emmissions through dropping Coal Fired stations in the favour of using of Nuclear, Solar and Wind Energy.
