All I know is this feels like a rotation in the seasons to me. Summer seems to start later and last into October. Deer Hunting in the 3rd week of November was almost a lock when I was young - like 10. Snow for Christmas was a lock. Snow in early March (heavy stuff) happened a lot during boys hoops so March had always been a dicey month. April? No way. Normal April around here is 50's and rain which used to give way to early May temps of 65. Not so much for Oral because I'm in the Southern part of the state. But lock days of 65 or above don't seem to come until mid June.
