That's the way a medical business should be run.

Maybe it should be like UPS and FedEx....different prices for 1-2 or 3day delivery.

Haven't seen it posted yet so I will say it.

DOD just extended all combat tours in Iraq to 15 months.

That is most excellent.

I had blood work done last Thursday, and I'm still waiting for the results.

i go through hell each week to get blood results for my wife's pro time. quest comes out weekly to our home, i have to call un of penn to get the results. they have to go into quest data bank to get results and then let me know. it is a complete waste of time, very bad use of rn , phones get backed up, seldom get a person live on the phone, most of the calls go into recordings.

i have email address for dr. and nurse. I do get responses in satisfactory time. however all this would be unnecessary if i were able to check on blood tests on line.

the medical profession is way behind on tech. regardless of what they claim. i would go to various doctors in penn system some are on one system some on another system. i would get dunning calls for tests covered by aetna where penn has agreed not to bill for services.. the manager told me they have so many various insurance alternatives that the programs cannot keep up with them. So the programs are not updated.. i had this problem for five years. they even sent the bills to a collection agency twice. It used to amaze me how a supervisor or department manager could daily accept hundreds maybe thousands of needless calls from patients because the software billing programs are not updated.

bill it would be great if rather than email you got results so you didn't have to go into your account.
