Steve, no matter what, the mainstream media wants to see a rich white man take the blame for this mess.

It won't be long before Nifong is accused of manipulating the black accuser for his own political gain. She might even claim that Nifong pressured her to lie.

Nifong was a democrat in a close race, easy way to pick up a huge block of voters...

With democrats, it's always about the next election is it not?

I don't think the dude did it for votes although that may be part of it. He saw it as an opportunity to make a name for himself.......and he will but not the kind of name for which he was hoping.
