So we are all being baited into negotiating these sensitive agreements in the press? It will be interesting to see whether Qualcomm ignores this press release, specifies why it is again an effort to mislead and distort, or simply announces new litigation and the constraints of confidentiality. However, I construe the timing and substance of this Nokia release to confirm that they remain at an impasse.
Perhaps it is time to blow the lid off of the GSM licensing scheme, and their hypocrisy, as suggested by others. Having no pure GSM licenses (yet), there can be no confidentiality provisions to be breached by Qualcomm.
