As I understand it, the girl is a mental case and thus the State Attorney General doesnt intend to file charges on her. Since she is penniless it does little good for the defendants to sue her. However, as I understand it the DA directly and the state will have charges filed. As to Duke they are both a victim (lost an outstanding Lacrosse team and its coach in the middle of the season) and a guilty party (the 88 professors who signed that ridiculous letter), dont know how that will be handled. jdn
