Pelosi did the right thing. We have to remain engaged with unfriendly nations, especially Iran and Syria now. Reagan knew that and sent James Baker to Syria 23 times. GHW Bush knew it too. Nixon dealt with China and the Viet Cong. Enemies always have to be dealt with. If you stop talking there is nothing left to do but kill each other, and Bush has lost that war. We cannot afford anymore killing of our troops in Iraq. There is no military solution there, only a diplomatic one. Also, Condi Rice has totally failed as a S of State. She has not cut a single deal yet. It's outrageous. She was never qualified to be hired in the first place. She is simply a token and a crony.
