I slipped up on my cut of quoting their "sales" take and you see their sales and licence take as being unambiguous.

Obviously, Nokia has stirred their adversary into considering to seek a deeper understanding into how they determine their handset sales amounts that are subject to royalty. This might have been an unexpected (or inconsequential) outcome of their PR.

If necessary, auditors and arbitrators will be called in to handle the "what" matter. I do believe Nokia should be given credit for added explanation of their numbers over the last time they sent out their 3% message. Some messages just can't be sent in 25 words or less. I guess that may be what inspired them to apparently send along a couple pages of payment terms with their recent token royalty payment.
