Where do you live? Wives never want to move, now or later. When the kids are out of college she'll come up with another great excuse.

That's when you find out where you want to go, rent a place there for a starter and start spending time there while telling her she is welcome to visit and stay with you any time she feels like it.
While of course you visit her as well frequently - if she still wants to see you ;)
Like Xmas and Thanksgiving.

Believe me, I know what I'm talking about.

Move to New Zealand. The climate is like S. Cal., but the population is like Utah! No one seems to want to blow them up and they speak english.
