A committed woman with an explosive vest blows herself up to kill a few soldiers. An US Air Force pilot drops a bunker buster bomb in a suspect area. Do they see weakness on our part? You and I may not see them as "freedom fighters". But how do you think they see themselves? What would it take for you to strap a bomb around your body and end your life to kill other people? Politics? Religion? Patriotism? I agree they are not "impressed" by our "guilt and self-doubt". Get inside their mind; what's their motivation to sacrifice everything?

And unfortunately, their rules are more "primal" in nature than ours. Your argument is interesting. Its the same argument the Israelis present. Both societies claim to be more sensitive to killing than their enemies. I think its all hogwash. The truth is both Israel and the America kill in much greater numbers because of the weaponry they use. In fact, Israel used cluster bombs in Lebanon which is outlawed by many countries because it is so destructive and deadly. I think Israel and the US speak with forked tongue.
