AMD HQ is in S'vale. This is Jerry Sanders legacy since he spend his time between LA and San Francisco. The last time I being to One AMD Place, it is mostly Legal and Corporate Marketing. It is decent sized building but it is very quiet and few staff there. Lots of empty offices to entertain major corporate clients when they visit. (Back then, each division, CPD, NPD, NVD, EPD and PCD have their respection sales/marketing located at their respective offices) Hector Ruiz and Dirk Meyer primary homes are in Austin. After Spansion spinoff, most of remaining operations are in Austin. There are sales VP in EMEA and Asia but sales title tend to be elevated to boost their ego and to facilitate dealings with customers.
