EL--Once again, as I noted previously to rkral, the issue here is whether Nokia may have issued contradictory PUBLIC information. Whether it is in the form of a particular SEC filing is unimportant. Whether it deceives the public IS important, and it appears that the contradictory statements coming from Nokia could be used as a basis for either a civil shareholder suit or a criminal action (in New York State, maybe not elsewhere). We are dealing with a company whose behavior, to say the least, is appalling. And this is part of a pattern on the part of Nokia, making one wonder why anyone would want to do business with them. Qualcomm, in my view, would be perfectly justified in terminating all agreements with Nokia, letting the chips fall where they may (no pun intended). Art
