Eriq, It is indeed a large dividend, especially if one invested back in the early 1990s. But we starved for a decade before the gusher started. I think I have the numbers near enough for government work. I had a quick look at the 10K. For a company that is inventing the 21st century, freeing consciousness from our wet chemistry and that anachronistic DNA system, and whose technology will be a LOT more use to a LOT more people than were Ford's efforts in the 20th century, the rewards are exiguous. Ford and the whole auto industry sold a lot of cars, and in some places cars seem to be the dominant human culture, but there were ever only 100s of millions of people buying cars. There are already billions of people buying cellphones and cyberphones and there will be 5 billion soon enough. Ford and General Motors combined, at $33 billion, are valued at less than half of QUALCOMM at $70 billion. Google at $140 billion is double QUALCOMM. Microsoft $280 billion is double Google. I think that qualifies as a trend. Exxon $440 billion is 60% bigger than Microsoft, so it's not as though the industrial revolution is over yet. GE at $360 billion isn't small either. But those oil prices are based on a blip in energy prices with marginal costs of production of another BTU for mobile or fixed applications is a lot lower than current oil prices. Mqurice
