Zeus,

The comment itself was obviously slimy, but as I said before it is often the sliminess (or shock value) of a comment that makes it funny to some people. When some people hear things like that they say to themselves, "Oh My God, I can't believe he said that, people are going to go crazy" knowing full well that was the goal. So they laugh.

It's not a form of humor that everyone likes. That much I understand. But I believe people should at least understand that it's humor. I don't think that many of the people that are insulted or offended by shock jocks understand that.

To me, the more politically incorrect a comment is the more I am apt to laugh at it even if "I" am the target. As I explained before, that's mostly because the whole point is to get some people to react (and they do) and because "I personally" find political correctness offensive.
