"You just don't think of Cornell along with Harvard, Princeton, and Yale, but there it is.."

Above the Cuyahoga, there rises an awful smell. Some say it is the river, others say Cornell.

Now that the river has been cleaned up and rarely catches on fire any more, I wonder. Does the smell remain?

JCP, > Cornell is the black sheep. You just don't think of Cornell along with Harvard, Princeton, and Yale, but there it is..

To the tune of "We Didn't Start The Fire" by Billy Joel:

We didn't go to Harvard
Because it's not our style, and we don't wear argyle.

We didn't go to Harvard
Because upon reflection we didn't have a connection.

We didn't go to Harvard
Because we're not that cocky and they can't play hockey.

So we go to Cornell
It's in the middle of nowhere but we really don't care.

Here we are at Cornell
We don't go to classes, we just sit on our asses.

Here we are at Cornell
Such diversity in one university!

I knew Cornell was Ivy League.....I went to Syracuse. The statement I made was said sarcastically.......when I made that post, Ten had reminded us at least 3 times in as many days that his alma mater was Cornell and that Cornell was Ivy League. The truth is we already knew that because in times past he has passed that info to us on several occasions. By now, even the slow ones on the thread should know those two significant Ten facts.
