I believe the Duke boys were charged with rape because of who they were, not what they did.

If they were ordinary Joes, black or white, the prosecutor wouldn't have needed to exploit them for his political gain.

they were charge with a crime because they were rich and if sue they could make a hefty payoff to the people like Jesse jackson, Sharpton and the woman who falsely accused them
