"At a recent ITC public hearing, Broadcom CEO Scott MacGregor declared that the U.S. wireless telecom system would function better if it completely capitulated to the European standard." -- George Gilder There is no text to that effect in Scott McGregor's prepared statement (presumably) presented at the remedy hearing in front of the ITC commissioners. edisweb.usitc.gov (PDF pg 21) However, as it should have made a few hairs stand up on the commissioner's necks, I hope Gilder's claim is accurate.
