C'mon now Peter, be fair. Carter wasn't a failure as a Prez, he was a DISASTER. And he's trying to make up for it by being an even worse ex-prez.

George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison all turned over in their graves when W was elected. It's a well known fact.
Carter would have done the same, but he was still living and so had to try a different approach.
Obviously for you loyalty to the President exceeds loyalty to the Constitution.
If you read the writings of the founding fathers, they wanted to create a nation of laws. not men (do you even know what that means ?).
