Someone who does this intentionally to hide something would not leave obvious gaping holes like the ones that appeared in the Nixon tapes.

Government rules are pretty strict on this. All are supposed to be archived. Of course if you have something to hide I suppose...

I know nothing about the "forensics" of finding deleted email. It would seem that there there must be traces somewhere as they must go through multiple servers on the journey from point A to point B. Any experts on the thread?
