Preaidential candidates who have appeared on IMUS this year are:

dems--biden, dodd, richardson--he refuses to have hillary on but was trying to get obama.

reps mccain, rudy, romney had been on last year i believe when he was a liberal but eschewed imus now that he is rightwinger,

carville and matlin appear separately, begala, dowd, gregory, all the newsseek folks, buchanan, severin (con), chris matthews, larry king, oreilly, anyone who has just written a book and wants it on the nyt best seller list, kurt vonnegut two months ago,

who he insults catholics, cardinal egan, jews particularly those with boner noses, jewish media types who are also his best friends, lobster newburg, mel karmazin, blacks, hispanics, arabs,

I don't know Suma...I listened to pieces of a program or two of Imus, but always changed the station...I felt he was too "crackerish" for me to appreciate him...

But I did find most of the Dem blogs are mixed as to what politica party he is....some think he is a registered Repub....others are SURE he's one of them.

I did find these two articles...one from the LATimes, and the other from the Dem party itself...

Even the LA Times says Imus is a Democrat...And they aren't known as a bastion of Republicanism.
