Mine was a shade over 2 grand as I recall. I have a friend whose brother works for the Sleep Number company. There is a way to get this bed for less money. They sell on a guarantee and once in a while get a return. They take the mattress back to the factory and strip off all the finish material and replace it with new. The core of the mattress remains the same, but all the outer surfaces are brand new. He says they sell these at a deep discount but I have no idea what that is. Ask, if interested.

QVC sells them. If you know someone that bought one recently they will usually match the price. At least the stores in the SF bay area does.
