The last two years were above 40%, the previous 3 above 20%. Showing better than 30% annualized over the last 5 years.

The results are better this year, in a shorter time frame because the market is trending higher. When the market is trending higher, you have to let profits run to maximize results.

You also have to keep losses to a minimum. That's why I keep tight stops.

A lot of people may have better results than me in any given year. I don't shoot for the big numbers. My focus is on being consistently profitable and let compounding do its magic.

This article helped to confirm the importance of a lower percentage but being consistent as opposed to swinging for the fences.
