Yes, I see you are right. I wasn't aware of that. I had thought the new opteron had a lower power draw than FX-74. But they are both close at 120-125 Watt.

Then, APM has reached its limit. And AMD's 90 nm process is also at the limit. The FX-74 came out in November.
