Actually the markets loved it that Clinton balanced the books. And even though Clinton raised taxes, is spurred the economy onto a huge boom. The surpluses Clinton got at the end of his second term were phenomenal. And nothing the rightwing can say will ever take that away. Compare to Bush being on target to create 5-7 trillion in new government debt, which is OUR debt. We will have to pay it off. Also notice the dollar is 50% weaker against the Euro under Bush than Clinton. 500%. That's a huge difference.

Bush's higher gas prices have nothing to do with luck. It's called gross criminal price-fixing and gouging.
