You don't need to explain your position. I already know where your sympathies lie.

Osama bin Laden is a terrorist. I don't care about his politics.

If our elected leaders believe that Saudi Arabia is a good ally, then it's a good ally. They have the resources to evaluate such things, and weigh the balance.

I don't know anybody who thinks China is a good guy with thermonuclear weapons. Your suggestion that we fear Afghanistan more than China is silly. Most people HATE that we do so much business with China, myself included. Afghanistan was simply a haven for Osama bin Laden, a terrorist, and we had to do something about it.

I see the big picture, but you don't see the plain fact that we're the good guys even though you cynically attribute that to the we/they mentality. You only have to look at how many people are trying to get into this country by hook or by crook to see that.

Pax Romana, Pax Americana. No comparison, and you know it.

If you can't live with it, you know what you can do about it.
