Dear Nuclear:

Worse is Intel's issuance of debt to buy overpay for its own stock. A lot of the stated profits went to employees especially at the top. Move that to expense where it truly belongs and see how little Intel really made over the last few years.

BTW most economists say that buying back stock is a stupid thing to do to return value to all shareholders. Distribute it via dividends or one time cash distributions. Else you lower book value to buy stock from a few.
