Good move John! Just look at it as a step toward improving your personal intellectual environment. Once you start, it becomes easier. I have quite a few posters on ignore now. When I want to sample their thought, I can just turn it off, or go to one of the right-wingnut threads and read that. Lindybill's Church of W is a fairly intelligent (but no less repulsive) right wingnut thread. Subject 53920 I've even begun extending the concept into my 3D life. I bought some noise-canceling earbuds to wear while motorcycling, but I've started to wear them whenever I go out to a crowded venue, mostly listening to NPR. It's like ignore for 3D!
