Strip clubs always have bouncers but strippers at parties don't, when I was in college the guy who hired them and a couple of other older guys were responsible for seeing that things didn't get out of hand.

We always had guys assigned to security as some of our parties had 2,000 guests or more. You can't have that many people at a party without someone cutting her hand on a piece of glass and needing first aid, or a boyfriend getting belligerent and needing to be shown the door. We used to take all the doors off the hinges in advance and mark all the johns "women only" figuring guys could go in the woods out back.

The mistakes the dukies made were hiring prostitutes instead of strippers, and not having a stage ready when they arrived. If an actual stripper arrives and there is no stage she will make a hasty exit, cause the stage is what separates her from the guys.
