The knee really isn't unstable. I can't straighten it due to arthritis build up so it makes it prone to collapsing just because I am stepping on a partially hinged knee. Unfortunately a brace is more designed for sideways movement due to ligament damage which I also have but isn't the issue at this stage. Now after trying gin tonight I think that perhaps doc is correct, it works better then vodka. Now before you think I have a drinking problem I want you to remember, I drink, I get drunk, I fall down, no problem. Also in the famous words of Dean Martin but I believe borrowed from Joe E Louis, your not drunk if you can lay on the floor without holding on. And I can:)
