I'm glad you did because I was going to step forward. I don't visit that often which might have been a good thing and I would have unbanned everyone and started over.

It really doesn't matter to me whether people say AMD is going to single digits or heading to the moon. Hey, we've been around here long enough to know most all the peoples mantras. Dig it in here, dig it in there.

What will be will be... it is,What it is.

The proof of the pudding is in the stock price. Both have left a sour taste in the mouth. G

Best of luck.

Tx CJ for stepping forward!

As Rupert has withdrawn himself CJ is the only candidate.

The nomination period ends tomorrow evening (the 19th). Others can nominate themselves by a post on this board or a PM/email to me.

On the 20th I'll initiate a vote that'll run for three days. That should be long enough even during earnings time.

Regards,

Rink

VOTE FOR CHANGE IN MODERATOR for the AMD Moderated Board

I requested a successor to moderate the AMD Moderated thread because I accepted a new job opportunity. I'm very grateful that Combjelly stepped forward (there are no other candidates). Combjelly (CJ) has been a long time member here from the beginning, he's known to stand behind the original values of the board, and he's a reasonable person. This vote is to either give Combjelly some proper support, or to get an unmoderated board instead.

CJ explaining he doesn't plan to change any rules at least for the short term: Message 23459665

Please recommend the following post if you vote for CJ as moderator: Message 23478128
Please recommend the following post if you vote for an unmoderated board instead: Message 23478136

The vote will run for 3 days. The majority decides.

Regards,

Rink
