I'm devastated you'll have to wait until 2008 to vote for more politicians that might do what you thought they would do when you voted for them in 2006.

Is our soldiers' blood on your hands now that democrats own both houses of Congress?

I'm afraid I've gone numb. I just read the headlines, which aren't surprising. It just seems we won't be getting out of there until Bush has left office, and it might take some time after that. Which is a shame, but it just seems pre-ordained and inevitable. Maybe it's some sort of karmic charge for invading in the first place, a punishment on our country.

Is anybody taking the time to read the details from Iraq, or are we all to numb? Since less than 1/10 of 1% of the population is fighting this war for us... don't you all think we should stay informed? The latest---

Numb, no. Shocked, yes. I am shocked we are still seeing these reports of numerous deaths of both Iraqis and American soldiers, and there is still 30% of the population who doesn't want the war to end. There is a very bad element in this country and its not just the gang bangers.
