I hope you have looked at the math on this one - it's a no-win situation.

Adherents to ZPG will have no descendents who carry their genes and behavioral inclinations. Those who have many offspring will dominate in future generations. Take a look at Japan and Europe. Who will live in these lands in 200 years ? Not those who live there now unless they fight for their survival. Gonna git messy.

I have one kid, so I guess I agree.....

I do remember the book "The Population Bomb" by Paul Ehrlich, back in the 60's. A lot of his predictions were rendered incorrect due to the Green Revolution, insofar as time targets are concerned. Longer term, he may be proven right yet....
