Every prisoner interaction in Gitmo is videotaped.

Really??

That should prove interesting once Bush is out of office.

I accused no one of anything, as you know. I haven't been there. The Red Cross and FBI have, though, and I believe their reports and others I've read. They're very consistent. And I know what Rumsfeld authorized.

Do you really believe that when prisoners are held in a freezing room chained into a fetal position on a tile floor with no chair, food or water, lying in their own feces for 18 to 36 hours (according to the FBI), a camera is recording their agony?

Could anyone be so naive as to believe that that would be videotaped?

Oh wait. "prisoner interaction" is what you say is videotaped. ("Every" prisoner interaction, in fact, is videotaped!) Just leaving someone naked and chained in 'a stress position' in their own bodily wastes in a freezing room for 36 hours... how much "interaction" is there in that? No need for videotape there.

And doncha just know there's no film of the man lying almost unconscious in his (permitted) "manipulated environment" next to the the pile of hair he'd pulled out of his own scalp since last anyone checked on him? And I wonder if they film the forcing of large feeding tubes (no medical reason; just a clever, practical torture-device) down the throats of hunger strikers.

I strongly suspect that you do believe everything I've reported here, but approve of it all, so resist calling it 'torture,' because then, Bill, you'd be a torture-guy.
