MOrning, Suma,

Shootie would have to give you the names of what he recommended. I only remember digestive enzymes, probiotics, and some kind of disgusting oil. I wrote the names down, handed it to CW and he got it all at the local GNC store.

At his recommendation, we also went to an organic diet with no prepared foods. Everything done fresh.

The hardest part of CW's illness, which lasted about a year, was the prednisone withdrawal. It was worse than the illness. He had been on a fairly high dosage for over six months. I worry about him now, living in NYC, working too hard, not sleeping or eating properly. He called a week ago, saying he was aching and didn't feel well, and was scared, and wanted to come home. Of course, I was worried sick- ready to call the doctors etc-- and then last night, I called him to see if he had made reservations, and he said, oh, I got some sleep, and I feel better. I think it was stress.
Sometimes I could kill him.
