I bought my first home when I was 25 years old in 1960 and when the Realtor whose agency had gotten me the mortgage
had my ear he said.

Now, if you sell, you let me know as your neighborhood is without elements of buyers whom we want to keep out.

I did not know what he meant until years later.

At Penn State in the late forties there was a lot of anti semitism. How do I know ? Every one thought that I was Jewish as I ran with a group of Jewish women.
