Bush-Cheney lied to congress about Iraq WMD AL Qaida intel.
It's true, Kerry was fooled for a short time, as we all were, but it wasn't long before it became apparent Bush-Cheney were lying, fabricating unreliable intel, making up tall tales, breaking their promises go to war as a last resort, and falsely questioning the patriotism of anyone who asked questions.

When Kerry voted he pledged that if Bush did not keep his promises he would hold his feet to the fire. Bush broke them all. Kerry became a war critic even before the invasion as he suspected the worst and was right. Kerry did nothing wrong, except to believe Bush-Cheney's lies for a short time. Many others made the same mistake.

Iraq is Bush-cheney's war, not the senate's. ALmost all senators of both parties regret giving Bush so much power. But it was soon after 9-11 and we all wanted to trust our president. Boy did we trust the wrong guy.

Perhaps, but if you could have voted for war you would have.
