More and more people are disgusted with both parties and are "independents". The time is ripe and I don't see either party abandoning the money the special interests provide.

Unity08 doesn't seem to be getting a lot of attention. They need to get some press. A well know candidate sure would help. How about Richardson (if things don't change in the Dem primary). Iacocca (sp?) would be great but I think he's too old.

For another, the Democrats are in danger of having a stranglehold on both houses and the executive for a long time. As recent history has shown, that is a bad idea. Double plus ungood, as Orwell would have termed it.

The first order of business is to get these neos out of office. If that means the Dems control Congress and the Presidency for 4 years so be it. The Constitution is in a lot less danger under the Dems than it is under the GOPers.
