My brother had gone back to Austin to visit his best friend and they were down on the drag when that clown opened up in 66. He hid behind a newspaper stand all day w/his bud while that Whitman freak took potshot all around them. Dead body 6 feet away just laying there...they watched him die. He was 17 and it took him 40 years to decide to move back to tejas after that fiasco.
