uhm,

Thanks for the presentation link for PWE. I've been selectively buying a few shares of the larger cap CANROY's and PWE fits the bill.

Compelling value when you can buy these at NAV today and get a nice distribution.

Purchased HTE earlier this morning and added PWE a few minutes ago.

i also sold off a bunch of VLO last week, keeping only my long-time very low-basis shares. i also sold all my SU, DVN, ECA, etc. and rolled a bunch of the proceeds into COS last Thursday and Friday. last Thursday i decided the valuation gap between SU and COS had gotten too extreme and was willing to transition from an overweight COS position to a morbidly obese position -g-.

at the same time, i pulled back on a lot of other names, essentially selling everything besides COS that is not a big dividend payer. the other names i have are AET.un, ERF, HGT, Peyote (PEY.un), PWE, SJT, VET.un.

the above dividend payers are all in a taxable acct. tax preparation will be a pain in the ass, but the cash flow is good.

overall, i have the biggest COS position i've had in a long time, but my overall energy weighting is now down to around 42%, which is low for me (standard is 50%).

Umunhum---wondering what you're up to these days, if you'd care to share. Personally I'm loading back up on Can. oil sands related CNQ, SU, ECA, NXY, COS. Thinking about the Jan 2010 LEAPS, but they look expensive to my untrained eye.

Back in April you said "still believe things are going to get interesting this Summer. And if there is no Saudi supply response I will go heavily into SU, ECA, and CNQ January 2010 leaps."

Thanks.
