Well googling this: Shlomo Ben-Ami, who was a key participant at Camp David, later admitted: ‘If I were a Palestinian I would have rejected Camp David as well.’ produces 300 hits, which I have not looked at. Given the way their paper was mauled, if it were not correct I suspect it would have been pointed out. Not bullet proof of course, but likely. Well, after following a few links I did find this one: democracynow.org which seems to be the one. It was in interview over his book? SHLOMO BEN-AMI: Yes, yes. Okay, the last third part of the book, as Dr. Finkelstein says, there is the diplomat, and this same diplomat still behaves in a way as a historian when he says in this book that Camp David was not the missed opportunity for the Palestinians, and if I were a Palestinian I would have rejected Camp David, as well.
