JF, > You get the idea, don't obfuscate.

You get the idea, don't minimize the horrors.

War is war. Japan brought it to half of the Pacific, including Pearl Harbor. Do you think anyone fighting against Japan at the time, even America, had the luxury to distinguish between military and civilian targets? Do you think they have the luxury to think about whether they're attacking "innocents" or "guilty" people? Heck, every Japanese soldier shot by an American or an ally was conscripted and forced to fight in the Japanese army. Maybe those soldiers too were "innocent"?

> Still would Jesus have sanctioned the bombing of innocents in Nagasaki because of the atrocities by some of the Japanese?

Perhaps you'd like to talk to some of the former "comfort women" that are still alive today. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to hear you accuse them of condemning innocent civilians to die just because of what 10, 50, or 100 Japanese soldiers did to each one of them.

Maybe then, you wouldn't be in denial over the cost of praying for your enemies.
