It could have been torture, at least in a few cases. But who really knows. It certainly seemed to be murder in the case of the dead prisoner. And the instances of abuse, while not torture, were against our regulations. I'm glad the perpetrators were caught and brought to justice.

Also, about those "authorized" to violate the Geneva Convention, was there a finding of this? Or did you glean that accusation from the opinion pages?
