Sure. People kill people- so don't give them guns because with guns it's just soooo much easier (I'd love to see someone kill 33 people in 2 hours with a knife- ain't going to happen). FWIW I don't want people to have easy access to hand grenades either.

In my 'yout', me and friends went on some Saturdays up to Santa Monica from Venice Beach with the help of mothers driving, and attended double western features at the "Hitching Post". Cap guns and holsters had to be checked at the box office. There were no incidents. Robert Redford mentions the wonderful theater in his interviews.
