so don't give them guns You don't live in a society where that can happen. I noticed your "give" comment. I guess you are one of those who think "everything that is not permitted should forbidden." You don't give people anything. They have rights. One of them is gun ownership. Complain all you want, it's not going to change. So they question is, since we live in a society where people have guns, how do you handle it? It's obvious that when you disarm the honest, the dishonest will thrive.
