If they didn't put it together at the time, they would have figured it out by now. Why? Most people are not predisposed to believe there was a broader conspiracy behind 9/11, except for a tight-knit conspiracy of a bunch of wild-eyed muslims. What stories are there to share and piece together in peoples minds who are not even looking beyond the official 9/11 story? There is nothing for these people to put together. It all could have been done right under their noses and they would not have known the difference between an intelligence crew and just another of dozens of utility crews they ecounter every month. Ever been to NYC? I live outside NYC and it's literally a zoo of contractors of all shapes and sizes doing all sorts of maintanence day and night, 24 hours a day. Much maintanence work is actually done at night because New York is too busy during the day. Who am I to tell the difference between a utility crew doing legtimate repair work and an intelligence crew carrying out a mission that they are perhaps not even aware of? Any intelligence agency worth it's salt could easily blend-in in a city like New York. They've done so for decades overseas in foreign lands, no reason why they couldn't easily blend in and perform a mission at home.
